Glad to hear about Heroes and of course, you know where to find me if you need a 'bouncy buggy board' to toss idea's at. hee hee btw, you aren't mean, nor are you cynical. You just see the reality of life and refuse to 'color it up'. Nuttin' wrong with dat. However, the 'evil' bit needs further discussing. *giggle*

I am a woman with a thousand and one hobbies...

  • Mood: tired but happy
  • Music: "Calling to You" ~ Robert Plant "Fate Of Nations"
  • Writing: only this entry
  • Quote: "Though you're gone, your love lives on when moonlight beams, And as long as my heart will beat, lover we'll always meet, Here in my deep purple dreams..." Nino Tempo & April Stevens 1934

Well okay, maybe not a thousand but at times it sure does feel like I do.  Spare time?  Ah, most of mine is taken up by:

1]  belly dancing

2] henna aka mendhi

3] making necklaces, earrings, bracelets, anklets, cell phone charms, etc etc

4]  reading  [I can't wait for the new JR Ward book to come out this month! ]

5]  writing, although writing what I have no clue

6] shopping

   a]  appliance shopping

   b]  computer shopping

c]  plasma or LCD TV shopping

7] photography and/or taking pictures of the aforementioned items in #3

8] cooking

9]  drawing

And that's about it.  *blinks*  Oh, not to mention I still work 40 hrs a week, exercise almost every night, walk my dogs, take care of DH, and manage to keep the house fairly clean.

Er, yeah.

I'm not complaining, believe me, I feel quite blessed but when I take a look at what I do and how much I try to do in my spare time, well shuzzbutt. I immediately wish I had more spare time...or that I didn't have to go to work. ha ha

And it always seems that once summer is over, the next few months speed by and before I know it, it's Thanksgiving and I have to cook for the Inlaws.    I hope to have my new appliances in by then, and wouldn't that be sweet?

Again, I feel very lucky to be able to do all of this, and as often as I can, I try and give back, so to speak.  IE this weekend DH and I are attending the Woofstock festival being held near my job. We're taking the girls, as long as the weather is nice, and proceeds from our admission will go to help the shelter continue providing a safe, 'no kill' haven for so many dogs and cats in need.

One of my many wishes? That I would be able to move to a bigger home with a larger yard so I could have more than two dogs...so that I could foster another dog or two, or something along those lines.

Someday...

Boring entry, I know, but at least I'm still alive...the kicking part has turned into shimmying..and shaking my hips...and doing 3/4 shimmies, hip slides and figure eights.  LOL!
