Widders: Hello thar! Nice site! Yar, some common interests I see here -- ah, I'd say come visit me, except that it's mostly in Hungarian, and it expresses a different side of me. XDDD Anyway, just saying hi!!!
ladybug: Stoppin' by to say hello, dear friend! Glad to hear about Heroes and of course, you know where to find me if you need a 'bouncy buggy board' to toss idea's at. hee hee btw, you aren't mean, nor are you cynical. You just see the reality of life and refuse to 'color it up'. Nuttin' wrong with dat. However, the 'evil' bit needs further discussing. *giggle*

Head and earrings and knees and Yoga Toes...

  • Mood: feeling the need...the need to bead
  • Music: none - I can't use Danceage at work any more...
  • Writing: soon...
  • Quote: "I learned that you should feel when writing, not like Lord Byron on a mountain top, but like child stringing beads in kindergarten - happy, absorbed and quietly putting one bead on after another." ~ Brenda Ueland

I just realized I've never updated on my progress when using the Yoga Toes, and well...it ain't happening in this entry either.  lol

I promise to post a new picture of the tootsies as soon as I can, but my judgment on the Yoga Toes is still undecided.  Sorry...

And earrings...yes, that's mentioned in the title of this entry and here's why:

I'm probably a few years late in jumping up on the bead/handmade jewelry bandwagon but nothing sought, nothing gained right?  Soooo, along with a partner who named the site, we created Butterfly Moonbeams to showcase our work.

How long have I been making jewelry? For the past two years, but I wasn't aggressive in my selling or promotion.  I make lanyards, cell phone charms, and everything else listed on the site but came to the rather quick conclusion that crafts shows aren't for me.  They're usually a long, exhausting day since I'm by myself [ DH will come to relieve me for a lunch and/or potty break but...] and have to carry everything in and out of the building.

I did a few craft shows, but nowadays the entry fees are more than $100 and for a newbie like myself, that's alot of money.

So...my journey into the realm of online selling has begun. Wish me luck but better yet, why not stop by the shop and look around? I'd appreciate it...

As my belly dance teacher said not that long ago, everything I do in my spare time has a connection and it all leads back to Oded Fehr as Ardeth Bay. Ready for this?

Ardeth Bay = Egypt/Sahara = fanfic = henna/mendhi = beads = belly dancing = Ardeth Bay

Clear as mud?  And yes, I still mention fanfic because that's one of my first loves, and I just have to find a way to get back to it and still be able to do the other things that I love to do.  Is it possible to come up with a 28 hour day? No?

Thanks for stopping by...
